Eagle Ridge Public School is located in Ajax, Ontario and serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

We achieve this by offering challenging, relevant and meaningful programmes, equipping each child with tools to succeed in all areas of development. This prepares them to meet the future with confidence and become successful, responsible citizens. 

Principal’s message

Welcome to Eagle Ridge Public School!

Eagle Ridge Public School has served students in our school community for over 13 years and continues to provide opportunities for student achievement and success for school aged children from JK to Grade 8. Our school population is approximately 640 students and continues to grow with new housing developments in our North Ajax area. We are also proud partners with School House Playcare, which offers onsite before and after school daycare.  Our community is diverse and many of our children live within a short walking distance from our school.  We emphasize the use of assessment data to guide programming. Teachers focus on using high yields strategies which include co-constructing success criteria with students, use of technology at the point of learning and instruction, and using descriptive feedback to support increasing student achievement. We continue to focus on developing reading skills through differentiating instruction and providing early intervention. All students and staff are involved in instructional and assessment strategies as we work collaboratively together to maximize student achievement. Irresistibly engaging; learning opportunities abound for children in all divisional levels – both inside and outside of our dynamic classrooms. We believe that all children can learn.  Everyone is welcome at Eagle Ridge.
